Privacy Policy
Achi app. Last updated: October 3, 2026
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app processes and how it is used.
1. Who we are
Achi is an iOS app for daily progress: tasks, life areas, voice input, and sync across your devices via a cloud account.
2. Data we collect
- Account: email, display name, and a password hash stored on the server.
- App data: tasks, life areas, progress marks, notes, and lists — to sync between your devices.
- Microphone and speech: used only with your permission for voice input. Audio is processed on-device via Apple Speech; task text is stored locally and on the server when you sync.
- Photos and media: photo library access is requested only when you add materials to lists. Files stay on your device; full media sync may not be available.
- Technical data: when you call our API, the server may receive your IP address and standard request headers for security and diagnostics.
3. How we use data
To sign you in, sync your data, back up your progress, and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
4. Where data is stored
- On your device — primary app storage (SwiftData), including offline use.
- On our server — account and sync data in a secured PostgreSQL database (HTTPS hosting).
- Apple — speech recognition may use Apple services under Apple's policies.
5. Third parties
Data is shared only with infrastructure providers required to run the service (hosting, database), and only to the extent needed to provide app features. Apple processes speech under its own terms.
6. Retention
We keep data while your account exists. After account deletion, server data is removed within a reasonable period unless law requires otherwise.
7. Your rights
- View and edit your display name in the app profile.
- Delete your account in Profile → Delete account, or contact us at the email below.
- Revoke microphone, photo, and speech access in iOS Settings.
8. Children
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
9. Changes
We may update this page. The current version is always available at this URL. The update date is shown at the top.
10. Contact
